ABOUT US
Our Values
OUR MISSION
Our Mission as Christ’s church is to be an Oasis to the lost, leading souls to the living water which is Christ, transforming their lives into an oasis, impacting the lives of others.
OUR AIM
Our Aim is to embody in today’s culture, the essence of Christ and the first century church in worship to God, relationship to one another, and outreach to the lost.
WHO WE ARE
We are a congregation/fellowship of repentant baptized believers in Jesus Christ as the messiah, who have been saved by grace and empowered with the Holy Spirit to change the world around us. We are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven and have been tasked with taking territory for God everywhere our feet trod. As disciples of Christ, our foundation is the word of God. Therefore, being educated in the word is a priority for every single member. As the body of Christ, we are a family of individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life coming together as one body. We use our unique gifts, talents, and experiences to minister to one another and to reach a wide variety of lost people in our community and abroad.
As we commit ourselves to the great commission, we purposely refuse to be bound by any man-made traditions or trends that distract or deter us from accomplishing the mission of Christ. We are Christ’s church!
WHAT WE DO
Dynamic Praise & Worship -We serve an awesome God who deserves an awesome praise! We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in praise and adoration to God, encouraging one another to live for God daily.
Observance of The Lord’s Supper is done weekly as a memorial of the pain and suffering Jesus went through on the cross for us. It is a constant reminder of to what extent God loved us and saved us by Grace, not of ourselves. Therefore our boasting is not in ourselves but in the cross.
Offering/Giving - We give as God prospers us for the work of the ministry and to share with others that are less fortunate.
Prayer is our direct communication with God, our father. In prayer we express our appreciation, our desires, and our need for His providence, protection, and direction in our lives.
The Living Word - We expect to hear a relevant word from God. God is alive and is speaking to us in real-time. We seek HIs instructions for our personal lives and for direction for the church as we aim to impact the world around us.
Breaking Bread/Fellowship - We take the term brothers and sisters literally. We are a family that share together, cry together, laugh together, and often times eat together. We are saved by grace, but bound together by love.
